I’m a pretty ordinary guy in most ways. I married Lorna in 1988. We have two sons and are now on to empty-nesting and grandchildren. I’m a carpenter. I enjoy woodworking, but my favourite part of the day is coming home to see my wife’s beautiful, smiling face. I enjoy camping and relaxing in the Rocky Mountains, riding my motorbike, and getting some of my thoughts into words.
I like to think of myself as simple and practical. I don’t use many big words… don’t know many big words. I’m not much of an apologist or debater. I don’t have letters behind my name. That’s not a bragging point, that’s just the way it is.
I keep thinking there is something incredibly special about me, but I can never quite put my finger on it.
For years I was dead, but at some point, I heard the voice of God and was raised to life. I will never be the same. All I really want to do now is know Him and His Son, Jesus Christ, more and more.
